Planes, Trains and Automobiles…nope! American Idol, Peanut butter and a Birthday!

We made it… but what an adventure.  We began this morning’s ride to the airport behind all of the American Idol hopefuls!  That was some kind of backed up traffic.  We all made it to the airport with time to spare!  Thank God for advanced planning! J

We also donated several jars of peanut butter that we were bringing for lunches to the Charleston Airport system.  Oops now we all know you have to put that in your checked bags.  Lesson learned.  Good thing we have a team of 9 women and we have enough peanut butter to feed the country side.  :p

A Birthday – Today is Christi’s 40^th Birthday and she chose to come to Haiti and celebrate with us.  We had a grand surprise thanks to the help of the American airline employees.  They announced it over the loud speaker, took a bag with a boa, a tiara and a journal written in by all of us!

We are in Haiti, resting from a day of traveling and ready to love on a bunch of kids.
