Day 2 - Seeing old friends...

Today was a special blessing for me.  I got to go back to see Andy who runs SunnyBell - the place we stayed last year.  Andy has become a great friend and FB has been a great connection.

We went to see the kids at Servants of All - also were we went last year.  It was great to see how much the kids have grown.  We did have fun putting temporary tatoos on the kids - but they did not get it!  They thought they were like stickers and kept scratching them off!  It was funny trying to explain that to kids who have never had them and dont speak the same language.

We also did a bandaid ministry. Bring out the babywipes and bandaids and there are no language barriers.  Every kids has boo bo's and every kids likes to be touched!  The line up of kids was cute.  Some of them just wanted their little faces wiped.  One little girl that was just under 1 last year was there today.  I was holding her and wiping her face and neck with a cool baby wipe and next thing I know she is asleep!  One of the great moments of the day!

Rachel, Joey and Christi played a mean game of soccer - you should have seen them gasping for air!  LOL - 5 3feet tall boys all 7 and under kicked their tails!!  No one picked the tall white kids (us for their team) and I was told I could just go away!  I guess my reputation precceds me!

Sandy got her hair braided - we made fun of her - just kidding!
Christi, Sandy, Annie, Cheryl all had a blast talking with the teachers who teach English to the town kids on Saturdays.

Cameras were a huge hit!!

Stay tune - Top 10 requirments to be a passenger in a car in Haiti!
Blessings
